Golden Globe-winning actor known for his inane, physical comedy. In 1995, he became Hollywood's highest paid actor, earning $20 million for The Cable Guy (1996). His other films include Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (1994), The Mask (1995), the critically acclaimed The Truman Show (1998), Man on the Moon (1999), Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000) and Me, Myself & Irene (2000). He won Best Actor Golden Globes for The Truman Show and Man on the Moon. His television credits include The Duck Factory (1984) and In Living Color (1990–94).
